What is it?
The Fuel to Go & Play® Extra Time – Accreditation program recognises and rewards community venues that are committed to offering healthier food and drinks in their canteens, kiosks, and other food services. Your venue can apply for Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 Accreditation; each level builds on the previous. OR, if your club doesn’t have a food service we have a specialised stream for you. The core areas include training, policy, environmental strategies, and menu.
What is involved?
- Complete Fuel to Go & Play® Canteen and food service staff online training or Fuel to Go & Play® Club official and stakeholder training– it’s FREE and will only take 1-2 hours
- Develop a pledge or policy to offer healthier foods and drinks at your community venues
- Submit your menu for review
- Choose some environmental strategies your club will commit to implementing to help create a healthy club environment!

Your efforts will be rewarded with a selection of posters, merchandise, and promotional materials, plus recognition certificates, media releases, and social media promotion. We are open to any ideas for other rewards that would best help your food service, just let us know!
